About Blanco New York

Founded by Natalie Otero, a designer with over a decade of experience in high fashion, Blanco has a keen sense of what the bride wants--even if the bride doesn't yet know it herself. We offer two options for creating your unique piece: modify one of the Blanco Collection designs or work with our designer and atelier to bring your own original vision to life with a completely custom gown or veil. Each piece is designed with the bride’s unique style in mind and created by some of the most talented artisans working in New York.

Natalie began her career as an intern at Marc Jacobs. She went on to apprentice at Narciso Rodriguez, learning the fine art of pattern making under the head atelier. She later worked in technical design at Marc by Marc Jacobs, creating alongside legendary stylists Venetia Scott and Susanne Deekan.  She held positions at Rag and Bone and Trademark before taking her current role as Director of Technical Design at Gap. She started designing custom bridal pieces in 2004.
