Caitlin

Married on September 2013 at The Bridge in Bridgehampton, NY

Caitlin is a cool, casual girl who hadn’t worn a dress since high school prom. She wanted something sophisticated but not stuffy, fitted through the bodice and waist with a loose skirt. She also wanted to stay away from traditional white. Her bespoke Blanco gown was a very light blush with slightly darker blush at the  cap sleeve and waist. The front had a flattering deep V and the back featured a sexy keyhole opening. The skirt had a A line shape and subtle back train that could be bustled for dancing. Her sophisticated dress matched her modern art museum wedding location perfectly.

What made you decide to go the custom route for your dress/veil?

I wasn't into the wedding look, and the thought of standing in a wedding salon on a platform surrounded by mirrors, bright lights, and pushy salespeople gave me a lot of anxiety. When I first met Natalie, she got my vision. I knew working together would be easy and fun.

How did you hear about Blanco?

Through my friend Willa. Willa had worked with Natalie, and when she and I were talking about wedding dresses and wanting something a little less traditional, she recommended reaching out to Natalie - best and easiest decision ever.

What was the best part of working with Blanco?

Becoming friends with Natalie! I think I was one of her first clients, and we had a lot of fun together. The process was just so easy and I ended up with a beautiful wedding dress.

What do you do for a living?

Experiential and brand marketing.

How did you meet your husband?

At work!

How did he propose?

He didn't! We decided we wanted to get married / engaged. We looked at diamonds, and picked one together. He picked the setting and surprised me with it once it was ready.
